Capital Sales Administrator

To provide administrative support to the Sales Executive and Project Managers with sales within the product range for the business. To provide ad hoc support to other areas of the business as and when required.
Reports to: Sales Director
Temp or permanent: Permanent
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Take client enquires, written and verbal and convey to the Sales Executive or Project Manager
- As directed by the Sales Executive/Project Manager prepare written proposals in response to requests from clients, existing or prospective
- Assist with and check all quotations and costings
- Maintain computerised records of all enquires and orders in liaison with Sales Executive and where required with Sales Director
- Assist Sales Executive/Project Manager with all client general correspondence and liaise with Client when required
- Liaise with and/or brief other departments on all matters affecting rental and/or sale projects, including the successful delivery and installation of products
- Provide accounts department with a payment schedule and/or the commercial arrangements agreed by the Sales Executive/Project Manager for each project
- Assist in sending out of mail shots for sales purposes
- Answer general incoming calls as and when required
- Provide back up support to Sales and Project Management Team when and if required

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Able to operate effectively alone and as a member of a team
- Ability to assess priorities when dealing with multiple workloads.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a responsible approach – tactful, diplomatic, confident.
- Effective in business communications, written, oral and aural skills.
- IT proficient, including MS Office 2000 or later, Outlook, Word, Excel
