Arena Seating at the London International Horse Show

Arena Seating installed a 7,500 capacity ‘in-the-round’ tiered grandstand system for this December’s seven day International Horse Trials at Olympia, London.

Marisa Beckman has been the operations manager at the London International Horse Show for 11 years, with responsibility for organising and installing the infrastructure.

Marisa said: “The design is tweaked every year to get the maximum number of seats around the show ring, focusing on maximum comfort and good sightlines for the audience. The Arena Seating system is ideal for us as it has seating on the corners so we can create a truly ‘in the round’ experience.

“We have a 10 day build time. This year the Arena team completed the build in eight days - the fastest ever, which was a testament to the professionalism of their project managers Martin Clark and Andy Birch. I’m delighted with their attention to detail, customer service and their ‘housekeeping’ is excellent – the site was tidy at all times.”

Sister company Arena Scaffolding supplied the supplementary platforms, camera platforms, and contributed to the health and safety of the event with the rings’ surrounding walls.
