New hospitality facility pioneered at equestrian events
An innovative new covered hospitality seating layout was just one of the facilities supplied by Arena Seating to the Altech FEI European Jumping and Dressage Championships at Windsor Castle, the latest addition to the prestigious equestrian events that call on the company’s services.
The new configuration saw hospitality tables laid out in a covered seating grandstand structure adapted to its new functionality with a platform floor replacing tiered seating. This introduced more flexibility to the organisers, allowing them to offer good value packages well suited to the needs of the current hospitality market.
Other equestrian events, including The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials and The Blenheim International Horse Trials, have commissioned temporary grandstand seating from the company, maintaining Arena Seating’s strong presence in this sector of the sporting market.
At Burghley, Arena provided a total of 6,500 seats in three grandstands, including VIP areas with timber surrounds and carpeted rows, 60 ‘Presidents’ seats behind the VIP area and camera platforms.
At Blenheim, a similarly comprehensive seating layout was installed.
“This year has seen organisers adapt their VIP seating facilities to meet the tighter budgets of today’s visitors,” says Arena Seating Director, Bradley Merchant.
“The high quality, affordable facility was an exciting challenge and we anticipate that it will increase demand for the VIP experience as the general public realise how affordable it is.”
