Arena Seating strengthens ties with non-league football at Grass Roots Football Live
It was a match winning performance by Arena Seating the official seating partner at June’s Grass Roots Football Live exhibition.
The UK’s most popular seating supplier enjoyed meeting both familiar and new faces from the non-league football clubs at the exhibition, whilst providing over 2,000 temporary seating facilities for fans to watch skills displays at the three day exhibition at the NEC.
Attendees enjoyed footballing stars past and present appearing, featuring Franco Baresi (ex AC Milan), Paul Merson (ex Arsenal) and Robbie Savage (currently Derby County), with coaching advice from managers and coaches including Peter Taylor. These became the latest footballers to be watched from the hundreds of Arena permanent seating and demountable grandstand systems installed at non-league clubs across the UK.
In a highly active “pyramid” of leagues, culminating in the Blue Square Premier League, or Football Conference, teams frequently need to enhance their audience viewing facilities. Sometimes because a promotion to a higher league requires investment in a higher standard/larger capacity of spectator facilities, sometimes a visit from a larger team at a cup fixture necessitates a temporary grandstand.
At Grass Roots Arena showcased two LT Grandstand at the Goalkeeper training area; these are specifically designed to be good value, easily installed sports ground seating systems, Further temporary tiered seating was in the Arena Seating Stadium and the Errea Coaches area.
“Non-League football is an increasingly popular activity enjoyed equally by men and women throughout the UK,” says Dave Withey, Sales Director of Arena Seating. “Grass Roots Football Live allowed us to demonstrate what we can do for local clubs, helping them look after their supporters while making a small amount of investment go a very long way.”
